Toru Yano pinned IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kenny Omega in an overbooked comedy classic.

Omega was already in the ring and nearly unconscious. Despite Page and Owens’ protestations, the match was declared a-go. Yano immediately went for a three count, but Omega kicked out. Yano went to the turnbuckles, but Owens distracted Yano long enough for Kenny to get back to his feet. However, Yano managed to toss Omega multiple times into the exposed turnbuckles before taking down the fourth and final. Owens acted as a shield for Kenny, and Omega was able to regain control and toss Yano into the exposed turnbuckle.

Yano lined up all the turnbuckle pads suplexed Omega onto them, but Omega didn’t feel a thing. Kenny tried to hit Yano, but he ducked out of the way and grabbed the blue pad as a weapon. Kenny grabbed the red, and just like that, we’re in a Star Wars reenactment.

Omega and Yano exchanged strikes with the turnbuckle pads before Yano tried to roll-up Kenny for a two-count. However, Omega kicked out and attempted to strike Yano with his pad, but Yano hit a dragon screw whip to throw Kenny out of the ring. Yano tossed Omega into the barricade and tied him to young lion Ren Narita (no, I’m not kidding). Omega, with Narita tied to him, got back into the ring to beat the 20 count, clotheslined Yano before untying himself from Narita, giving him a hug.

Yano and Omega exchanged roll-ups, with Omega getting tw V-Triggers and a snap dragon suplex. Kenny went for a German suplex, but Yano held onto Red Shoes for dear life. Reversing the suplex, Yano hit a low blow and chop block, but before he could capitalize, the Tongans ran in again. Tama Tonga delivered a Gun Stun to both men, dragging Yano onto Omega, and thus costing Kenny the match.

Omega remains at 12 points, while Yano is at four.
