Logan Paul vs. John Cena
Until Rollins was freed up from the aforementioned championship situation, Logan Paul had been penciled in for a match with John Cena.
He’d even called out Cena publicly, which, even though he’s Logan Paul, with the amount of respect he’s shown for WWE so far you’d have to imagine he wouldn’t have done without approval.
This match was scheduled for the show in December, but with all the plans that changed, it didn’t come to fruition.
Cena will instead be taking on United States Champion Austin Theory, a match that WWE had clearly planned to do at some point.
Cena is legitimately Theory’s childhood hero, and they planted seeds for it way back in July 2022 when Cena returned for his 20th anniversary celebration.
The hope was seemingly to do it at SummerSlam 2022, but Cena wasn’t available, so it’s all come back around to WrestleMania.
