Following this significant loss, Maxwell Jacob Friedman could find himself on the outside looking in for the AEW All In London 2026 main event that now stands as Omega vs Will Ospreay.

Now that he has lost the top prize in All Elite Wrestling, MJF might potentially face any number of stars come the Wembley Stadium event, whether it be a former rival or a first-time opponent.

Here are eight potential MJF AEW All In London 2026 opponents.

8. Will Ospreay

Back at AEW All In London 2024, Will Ospreay defeated MJF to win the AEW International Championship.

This win made Ospreay and MJF’s record against one another stand at 1-1 through their first two meetings.

In recent weeks, MJF and Ospreay have come across each other and teasing a potential matchup down the line.

Considering their status as two of the biggest stars in the company, MJF could easily get his rematch, beat Omega to become a four-time AEW World Champion and go on to defend against Ospreay at All In London 2026.

7. Kevin Knight

One of the newest rivals for MJF in AEW throughout 2026 has been ‘The Jet’ Kevin Knight.

The current TNT Champion has split his first two matches against Maxwell Jacob Friedman this year.

‘The Jet’ recently joined forces with Don Callis Family in teaming with MJF in the Death’s Door match at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2026 where he only agreed to this bout if he received a shot at the AEW World Title in exchange.

Now that he has lost the gold, MJF might find himself targeted by Knight who is looking for revenge and to even their record against one another at AEW All In London 2026.

6. Darby Allin

Another top rival for MJF on the AEW roster throughout his entire run with the promotion is Darby Allin.

On the April 15 Spring BreakThru special edition of AEW Dynamite, Darby Allin defeated MJF to win the AEW World Title. Then at AEW Double Or Nothing 2026, ‘The Devil’ regained the title with a win over Allin in the main event.

While it seems like their rivalry is over for now, MJF and Darby could rekindle their feud in time for All In London 2026.

With both men being among the main event talent on the roster, Darby challenging MJF to settle their score at Wembley Stadium should make for a very important battle on the AEW All In London 2026 card.

5. Swerve Strickland

Since he has been with All Elite Wrestling from the very beginning in 2019, MJF has pretty much clashed with every top star the company has had in its history.

However, it is very surprising to see Maxwell Jacob Friedman has never stepped in the squared circle for a singles match against Swerve Strickland.

With plenty of history from the independent scene, MJF and Swerve have crossed paths and interacted on several occasions on AEW TV.

Despite their confrontations, it feels like the right time for MJF and Swerve to finally collide one-on-one on a massive stage like Wembley Stadium come August 30.

4. Sheamus

Many fans were shocked to find out that Sheamus was leaving WWE upon the expiration of his contract.

‘The Celtic Warrior’ has been one of the most dependable and consistently great in-ring workers on the WWE roster for years.

When it was revealed he was departing WWE, MJF was the first AEW star to come out on social media and tease a bout against the former World Heavyweight Champion.

Sheamus coming into All Elite Wrestling could set the stage for a dream match with MJF that might be a highlight for the entire AEW All In London 2026 event.

3. Andrade El Idolo

Over the past few months, MJF has been teasing a feud and a potential showdown with Andrade El Idolo.

Since returning to All Elite Wrestling in January, Andrade has been focused on winning the AEW World Title.

With ‘The Devil’ holding the AEW World Championship, El Idolo has drawn the ire of MJF and even turned on him as well as the Don Callis Family in the Death’s Door match at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2026.

Following this memorable moment on the road to AEW All In London 2026, it just makes sense for the company to set up a battle between MJF and Andrade for Wembley Stadium this year.

2. ‘Hangman’ Adam Page

At AEW Revolution 2026, MJF defeated ‘Hangman’ Adam Page in a Texas Death match to retain the AEW World Championship.

Due to this loss, Page can no longer challenge for the top prize in All Elite Wrestling ever again.

Then on the July 11 episode of AEW Collision, ‘Hangman’ made his return to reiterate that he will not challenge for the AEW World Championship and wanted to put his sights on other gold in the company.

While he wants to set his eyes on other titles, Page may have to deal with his lingering issues with Maxwell Jacob Friedman and finally blow off this feud at the AEW All In London 2026 pay-per-view.

1. Mick Foley

At AEW Double Or Nothing 2026, Mick Foley made his debut with the company as a special guest host on the Zero Hour pre-show.

‘The Hardcore Legend’ has come into All Elite Wrestling, looking to play an ambassador role, but there has been plenty of discussion regarding his potential in-ring return.

With it being more than 15 years since his last match, AEW would be wise to place Foley inside the squared circle with someone who can be relied on like MJF.

‘The Devil’ goading Foley into a match would make for a compelling story and see both men finally give fans the bout they wanted to have together all those years ago on the biggest show of the year for the company at AEW All In London 2026.
