At WWE SummerSlam 2026, Oba Femi will face Brock Lesnar in a Hell In A Cell match to culminate their rivalry.

After settling the score with Lesnar, fans could see Femi getting involved in any number of storylines and rivalries.

Whether it be cashing in his King of the Ring title shot or finding a new rival, Femi may be the most interesting individual on the WWE roster and could cause another domino effect for everyone else in the company.

Here are seven potential Oba Femi WWE plans after Brock Lesnar.

7. Continue The Oba Femi Openc Challenge

Following his victory over Brock Lesnar at WWE WrestleMania 42, Oba Femi wanted to give other stars on the roster the opportunity to knock him off his perch.

This led to Femi facing off with the likes of Otis and Los Garza in a series of matches on Monday Night Raw.

On the May 18 edition of WWE Raw, Lesnar returned to the company to attack Femi and issue a challenge for Clash In Italy 2026.

If ‘The Ruler’ is able to survive Lesnar in Hell In A Cell, Oba could bring back the open challenge to test himself against others on the WWE roster following SummerSlam 2026.

6. Challenge Penta For The WWE Intercontinental Championship

Some fans have questioned why Oba Femi is being elevated all the way to the main event picture this soon into his run on the WWE main roster.

This has led to these same fans suggesting Femi has a stint with a midcard title before challenging for the Undisputed WWE or World Heavyweight Championships.

On Monday Night Raw, Penta is the current WWE Intercontinental Champion and has proven himself as showing “Zero Miedo” to any challenger before him.

Oba Femi challenging Penta for the IC Title would make for an interesting title bout after ‘The Ruler’ is done with Brock Lesnar.

Over the past few years, it seems that both fans and the company have pegged Oba Femi and Bron Breakker as the future faces of WWE.

In 2021, Breakker came into NXT and became the biggest star on the roster in no time before finishing up his run three years later as a two-time NXT Champion and a former NXT Tag Team Champion.

Following in his footsteps, Oba Femi arrived on the WWE NXT brand in 2023 and immediately became a force to be reckoned with. ‘The Ruler’ is also a two-time NXT Champion and the longest reigning NXT North American Champion of all time.

It feels like WWE has been saving this matchup, but following a win over Brock Lesnar in Hell In A Cell at SummerSlam 2026, the company might want to give Femi another monster to overcome in Breakker.

4. Stand Up For Nick Aldis Against GUNTHER

On the July 10 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, GUNTHER snapped and attacked General Manager Nick Aldis in a brutal assault.

This may put GUNTHER’s job and future in jeopardy after laying his hands on an authority figure in WWE.

However, Aldis could call upon a force that can match up well against ‘The Ring General.’

Aldis sending Oba Femi after GUNTHER would continue to present him as a new final boss that even strikes fear into someone like the former two-time World Heavyweight Champion.

3. Kickstart A Feud With Drew McIntyre

Back on the December 13 edition of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, Oba Femi’s match with Cody Rhodes ended inconclusively with Drew McIntyre interfering.

‘The Scottish Warrior’ was physically dominated by Femi who manhandled him in convincing fashion.

While it has been months since this interaction, McIntyre could have remembered this confrontation after being away from WWE TV since WrestleMania 42.

Having months to stew and think about everyone who did him wrong, McIntyre feels like someone who would have the bravado and cockiness to go after Femi following his Hell In A Cell showdown at SummerSlam 2026.

2. Move To SmackDown To Use His King Of The Ring Title Shot Against CM Punk For The Undisputed WWE Championship

Since arriving on the WWE main roster, Oba Femi has mostly been featured on Monday Night Raw.

Whether it be his feud with Brock Lesnar or winning the King of the Ring, Femi has done this all as a member of the red brand.

However, this Hell In A Cell battle with Lesnar could signal the end of his time on Raw for now.

Following WWE SummerSlam, Femi could move over to Friday Night SmackDown where he would be free to use his King of the Ring title shot to challenge CM Punk for the Undisputed WWE Championship sooner rather than later.

1. Immediately Challenge Roman Reigns For The World Heavyweight Championship

After beating Brock Lesnar at WWE WrestleMania 42, Oba Femi immediately made it known on the post-show that he had his sights on Roman Reigns‘ World Heavyweight Championship.

At WWE Night of Champions 2026, Femi defeated Jey Uso to win the King of the Ring final and earn a shot at a world title of his choosing at SummerSlam.

Despite having this coveted opportunity, Femi has decided to postpone that match to face Brock Lesnar inside Hell In A Cell at ‘The Biggest Party of the Summer’ instead.

While some have questioned this decision, Oba can show the world by beating Brock at SummerSlam and then immediately confronting Reigns to challenge him for the World Heavyweight Championship.
