With AEW WrestleDream 2026 in the books, the company will now be focused on the build to Full Gear on November 14.
As one of the tentpole pay-per-view events for the promotion, AEW Full Gear 2026 should have some significant bouts on the card.
With this huge event, the company should pull out all the stops for the November 14 card.
Here are five potential matches to take place at AEW Full Gear 2026.
AEW Women’s World Championship: Mercedes Monè (c) vs. Marina Shafir
At AEW WrestleDream 2026, Mercedes Monè defeated Thekla to retain the AEW Women’s World Championship.
Following this win, many fans were wondering who could step up to “The CEO” next.
Over the past weeks, The Death Riders have been dealing with grief after the loss of PAC.
In his absence, Marina Shafir has shown a new fire that could see her challenge Monè for the title at Full Gear.
Match #5 of the Best of 5 Series: Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin & Alex Shelley) vs. FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler)
Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley made their return on the October 14 AEW Dynamite and Collision to challenge FTR to a Best of 5 Series.
Motor City Machine Guns picked up a win over FTR in Match #1 of the series at AEW WrestleDream 2026.
Over the next few weeks, The Guns and FTR should have the other matches in this series.
By the time AEW Full Gear 2026 comes around, fans could see FTR and MCMG clash for the fifth and final time in this series to see who the better team truly is.
AEW TNT Championship: Darby Allin (c) vs. Ilja Dragunov
Following weeks of speculation, Ilja Dragunov finally made his AEW debut at WrestleDream 2026.
Dragunov could be placed in the squared circle with just about anyone in AEW.
Meanwhile, Darby Allin has been having the TNT Title Open Challenge since his third reign started.
With the TNT Championship on the line, Dragunov and Allin could have a battle for the ages at AEW Full Gear in Phoenix, Arizona.
AEW World Trios Championships Texas Death Match: “Hangman” Adam Page & Brodido (Bandido & Brody King) (c) vs. Swerve Strickland & The New Level (Kofi & Austin Creed)
At AEW WrestleDream 2026, “Hangman” Adam Page and Brodido defeated Swerve Strickland and The New Level in a Two Out of Three Falls Match to win the AEW World Trios Championships.
This made these two teams even at one match a piece in their previous two meetings.
Coming off the heels of WrestleDream, fans should expect one more battle between these six men.
Swerve and New Level getting their rematch in a Texas Death Match could prove to be a brutal end to this rivalry at AEW Full Gear 2026.
AEW World Championship: Will Ospreay (c) vs. Adam Copeland
Will Ospreay put everything on the line at AEW WrestleDream 2026 in the Clockwork Carnage.
Against seven challengers, Ospreay came out with the win and the AEW World Championship.
At the end of the match, it looked like Adam Copeland was about to win the world title for possibly the final time until Ospreay took the victory.
After WrestleDream, Ospreay defending the gold against Cope should be the headliner at AEW Full Gear 2026.
