With WWE Elimination Chamber officially behind us, we must now look ahead to WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia.
With numerous top matches already announced for the show, we have a good idea of what the top end of the card will look like for this year’s show, but what about the rest of the show?
With WrestleMania now a two night event, there’s room on the show for many WWE stars currently not scheduled for Philadelphia.
Here is our predicted card for WrestleMania 40 following Elimination Chamber.
Undisputed WWE Universal Championship – Roman Reigns (c) vs. Cody Rhodes
The Cody Crybabys have had their voices heard, with this year’s WrestleMania main event set to be a rematch from last year’s main event.
Cody’s failure to finish the story one year ago has led us to this moment, with Cody getting another shot at destiny in Philadelphia.
It sure has been a ‘Rocky’ road to get here, but ultimately the main event is how it should be.
The Rock is a factor in this year’s match, though it seems as though the match will remain simply Cody vs Roman this year, but Rock will be in action at WrestleMania…
