With only a few days ahead of the event, WWE Clash In Italy 2026 is looking like it will be one of the most star studded cards for the company this year.

There are five matches on the lineup with four being for championship gold and the other being a WrestleMania 42 rematch.

Considering what is at stake in every bout, it should be interesting to see who walks out of Turin, Italy with a victory.

Here is our full preview and predictions for WWE Clash In Italy 2026, with betting odds courtesy of Paddy Power.

Undisputed WWE Championship: Cody Rhodes (c) vs. GUNTHER

On the May 1 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, GUNTHER showed up to attack Cody Rhodes from behind and laid him out with a sleeper.

After making it clear that he wanted the Undisputed WWE Championship, “The Ring General” cashed in his favor with Paul Heyman to have him work out a deal for him to head to Friday Night SmackDown.

Heyman went on to hand a contract to Rhodes for a title bout at the WWE Clash In Italy 2026 premium live event.

Then on the May 15 SmackDown, “The American Nightmare” set up an impromptu contract signing, which saw GUNTHER try to overplay his hand and refuse to sign the contract until Royce Keys almost took this opportunity from him.

That led to GUNTHER defeating Keys in a number one contenders match to earn the title shot at WWE Clash In Italy 2026.

Following attacks from both men over the past few weeks, it will be intriguing to watch how this battle unfolds.

With this bout opening the show on ESPN, the company would be wise to have a high profile title change kick off the PLE by having GUNTHER dethrone Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship.

Prediction: GUNTHER
Betting favorite: Cody Rhodes (Cody Rhodes 4/5 GUNTHER 10/11)

WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship: Becky Lynch (c) vs. Sol Ruca

On the May 4 episode of Monday Night Raw, Sol Ruca was set to officially sign her contract with the red brand until Becky Lynch interrupted to steal the spotlight from the former NXT standout.

This confrontation sparked a rivalry between the two with Ruca laying out “The Man” with her signature Sol Snatcher.

While Ruca has been unable to earn a pinfall victory since her main roster callup, she still called out and challenged Lynch to a match.

“Big Time Becks” accepted as a non-title match at the May 23 WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event that saw Lynch get herself disqualified against Ruca.

After the bout, Lynch attacked Ruca and laid her out with multiple Manhandle Slams. However, Sol was given a title opportunity for the WWE Clash In Italy 2026 event thanks to her DQ win.

Considering her main roster run just getting started, it should be time for Sol to pick up some momentum by scoring her first pinfall victory over Becky to win the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship at this historic PLE.

Oba Femi vs. Brock Lesnar 2

At the WWE WrestleMania 42 Night Two premium live event, Oba Femi defeated Brock Lesnar in what was the biggest win of his career.

After this loss, Lesnar decided to remove his gloves and boots, leaving them in the ring, hugging Paul Heyman and signalling an apparent retirement.

Just weeks after the event, “The Beast Incarnate” made a shocking return by attacking “The Ruler” during one of his open challenges on the May 18 episode of Monday Night Raw.

This led to Paul Heyman handing Adam Pearce the contract for what he called the biggest WrestleMania rematch of all time to take place at WWE Clash In Italy.

Lesnar explained his return by saying he couldn’t stand for that kind of loss and wanted to avenge what happened at Mania with Femi.

Meanwhile, Oba has stated that he has retired Lesnar and now he wants to “kill him” in their rematch at Clash In Italy.

While Femi should probably continue his success against “The Beast,” it seems like Lesnar is back to avenge his loss and even their record against one another.

Prediction: Brock Lesnar
Betting favorite: Brock Lesnar (Brock Lesnar 4/6 Oba Femi 11/10)

WWE Women’s Championship: Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Jade Cargill

At WWE WrestleMania 42 Night Two, Rhea Ripley defeated Jade Cargill to win the WWE Women’s Championship.

Then on the May 8 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Cargill made her return to cost Ripley, Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair their six-woman tag team match against Fatal Influence.

Post match, Cargill, Michin and B-Fab laid out Rhea, Charlotte and Alexa to set the stage for a match at the May 23 WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.

At the show, Cargill pinned Ripley to avenge her loss against the WWE Women’s Champion at Mania.

Now, Cargill will challenge Ripley for the gold at the WWE Clash In Italy 2026 premium live event.

While Jade is riding a ton of momentum after her pinfall win over “Mami,” Rhea should find a way to retain the gold in Turin, Italy.

Prediction: Rhea Ripley
Betting favorite: Rhea Ripley (Rhea Ripley 1/6 Jade Cargill 7/2)

WWE World Heavyweight Championship Tribal Combat: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Jacob Fatu

Following his win over CM Punk at WWE WrestleMania 42 Night Two, Roman Reigns was confronted by Jacob Fatu, who challenged his cousin for the World Heavyweight Championship.

This led to WWE Backlash 2026 where Reigns retained his title over Fatu thanks to an “accidental” exposed turnbuckle. After the match, Fatu brutally attacked Roman and WWE officials.

Then on the May 11 edition of WWE Raw, Fatu destroyed “The OTC” and The Usos, showcasing his unhinged nature.

The following week, Reigns, Jimmy and Jey Uso delivered a three-on-one beatdown on “The Samoan Werewolf.” However, Fatu avoided losing his job by challenging Roman to a Tribal Combat Match.

This stipulation is an anything goes match that is strictly done between members of the Samoan family dynasty with the loser being forced to acknowledge the winner as “The Tribal Chief.”

With everything that is important in the family on the line, this should see Reigns put a close to this rivalry and beat Fatu, while making “The Samoan Werewolf” an official member in The Bloodline coming out of WWE Clash In Italy 2026.

Prediction: Roman Reigns
Betting favorite: Roman Reigns (Roman Reigns 1/5 Jacob Fatu 3/1)
