The Bloodline and the 946 finally came to blows on tonight’s WWE Raw, but one major name was missing from the closing segment.

To kick off the night, Roman Reigns came to the ring to confront Sami Zayn ahead of their Champion vs. Champion match at WWE Crown Jewel.

During the segment, Reigns would ask Sami about potentially fighting alongside the Bloodline once again against the 946, though things ended up getting heated between them, leading to Roman having to ‘go back to the drawing board’.

War Games build is now in full swing

However, that wouldn’t be the only time we saw Reigns on the show, as he would make the save during the main event angle, which saw the Usos and Solo Sikoa brawl with the 946, including their new member Carmelo Hayes.

Reigns would confront the 946 for the very first time, with the two teams of four getting physical with each other for the first time.

The segment began the direct build to this year’s War Games match, though there are still some important pieces left to fall into place.

Jacob Fatu to join the 946?

Noticeably absent from this week’s closing angle was Jacob Fatu, who is still off television after being hit by a car by Jaida Parker.

Ever since the group first arrived, fans have speculated that Jacob could be in cahoots with the 946, but that idea seemed to fall apart after Jacob was run over by the group.

However, War Games matches have typically been five vs. five on the main roster, with Jacob obviously fitting into the match, but on which side?

Jacob and Keys’ relationship was a key part of the storyline back in the early Summer, and Jacob has been butting heads with the Usos upon his return to the Bloodline after losing to Reigns at Clash In Italy.

Explaining Jacob’s decision to turn on the Bloodline after being run over by the 946 will be difficult, but right now, it seems as though he would be the one to end up turning on the group.

If not Jacob Fatu, then who?

It could end up that WWE opts to not have a Bloodline member turn on the family despite all the speculation, and in that scenario, there are other major notable names possibly set to align with the 946.

The most obvious being LA Knight, who is seeing Solo Sikoa rejoin the Bloodline before his very eyes after the pair formed an alliance back in the Summer.

Another option would be Drew McIntyre returning to the Raw brand, given his major history with the Bloodline over the years.

A new full-time member of 946?

After the addition of Carmelo Hayes, unless it is a reveal that Jacob has been in cahoots with the group, WWE should avoid adding another permanent member to the 946, as it may end up being a bit much too soon.

In the scenario where LA Knight, Drew McIntyre or anyone else aligns with the group for War Games, it should be as a partner not as an official member, similar to Brock Lesnar with the Vision last year.
