7. Bray Wyatt vs. Kane (Summerslam 2013)
Bray Wyatt really has had an up and down career in WWE. He’s known for having some classic matches against guys like Daniel Bryan and John Cena, but his first match on the main roster was… not good.
Wyatt’s first match on the main roster was a ‘Ring of Fire’ match against Kane. First, the fire is only used to keep the Wyatt Family away from the match. The match itself was really bad, with Kane and Wyatt basically exchanging signatures and Kane hitting Wyatt with repeated finishers. It made Wyatt look really weak, like how he looked after winning his steel cage match against John Cena at Extreme Rules 2014, where he looked like he needed help to beat people.
There are a couple of good things about this match in fairness. Luke Harper and Erick Rowan using a fire proof blanket to get into the ring and help Bray against Kane was a really cool visual. The fire around the ring is also a pretty good looking visual. The beat-down at the end of the match was also brutal, but kind of pointless, since Kane came back only a month or two later at Hell in a Cell 2013.
Overall, a really bad match that did nothing for either guy.
