What Should Happen – WWE Money In The Bank 2019

2. Main Card – Daniel Bryan & Rowan vs. The Usos

Winners: Daniel Bryan and Rowan

While this match is booked for the preshow, I would have it moved to the main card. Daniel Bryan and Rowan should be seen frantically searching for Shane or Vince McMahon during the preshow, with Bryan livid at being booked for the kickoff show. He should say that at the last pay-per-view, he was defending his WWE Championship, and now is being booked in a match before the actual event. This would lead to him refusing to compete unless the match is moved to the main show.

The match should kick off the main portion of the event, with Bryan and Rowan coming out first, showing off their newly designed hemp tag team championships. This match should be similar to their bout on Smackdown two weeks ago, with Rowan being showcased and built up as a monster and Bryan’s equal rather than the former WWE Champion’s henchman.

WWE have booked themselves into a corner here. Having The Usos lose to Bryan and Rowan on Smackdown two weeks ago and then Shane McMahon, Elias, Rowan and Bryan on Smackdown this week means they do need a win here to build up some credibility, but no one wants to beat the champions.

Many people are expecting The Revival to cost The Usos the match here, serving as a continuation to their frankly laughable feud. However, I would have Bryan and Rowan win clean, with Rowan doing most of the work and Bryan finishing off one of the brothers with a running knee. After the match, The Viking Raiders appear from behind and lay out both teams. This would ensure people are talking after the match not about The Usos losing once again, but about how the Viking Raiders solidified themselves as top players in both of the tag team division.

Especially with the Wildcard Rule, fans would have to tune in to both Raw and Smackdown to see if the former NXT Tag Team Champions make their tag team title intentions known on either brand.
