10 WWE & AEW Stars Who Could Wrestle Their Last Match In 2024 WWE, AEW

The pro wrestling world is set to see one of it’s most ICONic figures officially retire in 2024 as Sting laces up his boots for the final time at Revolution on March 3.

Now, by the lofty standards set by the Stinger and his best pal Ric Flair, some would expect wrestlers competing until their 60s (70s for the Nature Boy) to be the norm.

Usually however, many stars decide to call it a day well beforehand, and this year presents a very healthy selection of men and women who may do just that.

While many of these stars may not be around as much on TV these days, their absence in most cases will still be felt if they decide to officially ride off into the sunset this coming year.

So with that said let’s take a look at 10 stars who could wrestle their last match in 2024.

10. John Cena

John Cena

Let’s get a big one out the way right off the bat shall we? Now if WWE and Mr Big Match John himself would have you believe, he may already be done inside the squared-circle.

The dramatic and emphatic beatdown he received at the hands of Solo Sikoa at Crown Jewel turned the once powerful Cena into a shell of himself, as he made that lonely walk up the entrance ramp after the bell in Riyadh.

Commentary put over the fact that it may be the final time we see Cena and Cena himself did the same through his cryptic Instagram account.

But make no mistake about it, as if there was any doubt, Cena will of course be back. But it seems like only a matter of time till that teased outcome from Crown Jewel actually becomes a reality.

While Cena could undoubtedly still go past 2024, his prominence in Hollywood is steadily increasing so expect either this year or next to be the end. The question I guess is does he have that record-breaking 17th world title run in him before he does?
