WWE Backlash 2018: Betting Trends

May 4 (48 Hours Before Event)

Daniel Bryan (-200) vs. Big Cass (+150)

Nia Jax (-400) vs. Alexa Bliss (+275)

Carmella (-120) vs. Charlotte Flair (-120)

Seth Rollins (-500) vs. The Miz (+333)

Roman Reigns (-300) vs. Samoa Joe (+200)

AJ Styles (Even) vs. Shinsuke Nakamura (-137.5)

Bobby Lashley and Braun Strowman (-400) vs. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn (+275)

Jeff Hardy (-150) vs. Randy Orton (+110)

Kevin’s Thoughts: The final match, Jeff Hardy vs. Randy Orton, has been added to the betting pool and seems to be about a coin flip. There has been no movement in the Women’s Championship matches since May 1st. Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns remain strong favorites in their matches. AJ vs. Shinsuke also appears to be about where it was a few days ago, with AJ picking up some points to Even. The two most interesting moves have been the matchups I’ve had my eyes on the past few weeks. Big Cass, while still an underdog at +150, has finally seen some positive trends in his direction. Finally, Bobby Lashley and Braun Strowman have seen their odds decimated from -800 to -400. To be fair, not many people are willing to drop significant amounts of money on big time favorites in WWE sports betting. Vince McMahon changes his mind too often for that. However, this will be something to eyeball on the day of the event.
