3. Dragon Lee VS. Carlito
In the plot twist that absolutely everyone (except the always naive Rey Mysterio) saw coming, Carlito was revealed on SmackDown to be the guilty party in the mystery of who attacked Dragon Lee just a day prior to WrestleMania 40.
While it was not the most shocking of revelations it does make for a nice follow-up angle, with Carlito set to embrace being a heel for the first time since returning to the company last year.
Carlito always was a natural bad guy, and while he certainly had fans behind him in this run it’ll be nice to see him split off on his own away from the LWO’s shadow.
A match with Lee is inevitable and would make for a nice addition to the card at Backlash. Only gripe being the card is slightly SmackDown heavy at present so perhaps a Raw pick would make for a better option.
