Things are escalating between The 946 and The Bloodline, and Roman Reigns will have little choice but to address it all on WWE Raw.
On top of that, there’s the imminent World Heavyweight Championship match against LA Knight at Money in the Bank, where the challenger has made it clear that Roman Reigns has contributed to holding him back.
With so much going on for Reigns, his return comes after a couple of weeks of absence and much change within The Bloodline:
Man Down
Last week, Solo Sikoa attempted to make amends with The Bloodline as The 946 ramped up its aggression, only to find himself ostracized and later kidnapped and subsequently released in the middle of nowhere.
This week, another man was taken out in the form of Jacob Fatu after Jaida Parker drove a car into the Samoan Werewolf and made it clear that she is now a member of The 946.
The Bloodline needs The OTC
Fatu had called for a measured approach to The 946 issue over past weeks, but abandoned that strategy on last night’s episode of WWE Raw, with the resulting aggression leaving him on the ground at the end of the show.
The Usos and Fatu are seemingly directionless without Roman Reigns, something that The OTC will need to make clear when he returns next week. Fatu may be out of action on October 5, something that shouldn’t sit well with any member of The Bloodline.
LA Knight
October 10 sees WWE Money in the Bank take place, with LA Knight challenging Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship.
Knight made his feelings towards Reigns clear on last night’s WWE Raw, reflecting on their past, being held back by politics and stars like The OTC.
Seeing this as his “last shot”, Knight has criticized Reigns for not being able to beat him without getting his family involved, with Money in the Bank being a chance to prove it.
Is the end of The Bloodline approaching?
The threat of The 946 and the challenge from LA Knight all put The Bloodline in a precarious position. This isn’t one faction feuding with another, but an attack from two sides.
The 946 have increased their numbers with the addition of Jaida Parker, while The Bloodline has regained Jacob Fatu and seen Solo Sikoa turn down their approach. In this year along, Roman Reigns may have returned as The OTC, but The Bloodline has lost Sikoa, Tama & Talla Tonga (now led by Haku), Tonga Loa, and JC Mateo, both of whom where released from their WWE contracts.
An approach to Haku could bring The MFTs over from SmackDown, but as it currently stands, The Bloodline is arguably a shadow of its former self and may not be around much longer if members keep dropping at the hands of Royce Keys, Bronco Nima, Lucien Price and, now, Jaida Parker.
