After being unmasked as The Original El Grande Americano, Chad Gable has been on an apology or redemption tour of sorts on WWE television.

Looking to make amends for disrespecting the lucha libre culture, Gable has turned babyface and looks to show how much he has learned from his experience over the past year.

Not running short of enemies right now, Gable might follow the trend in his career over the past few years by creating a new faction in his new role.

Here are six WWE stars to potentially join a new Chad Gable babyface faction.

6. The Creed Brothers (Julius & Brutus Creed)

In 2024, Chad Gable created the American Made faction from the ashes of his time with Alpha Academy.

Alongside The Creed Brothers and Ivy Nile, Gable was able to create a whole new persona for himself after turning heel earlier in that same year.

When Gable took the mantle of The Original El Grande Americano, Julius and Brutus Creed also adorned masks to team up with Gable against El Grande and Los Americanos.

Now that Gable has unmasked and turned babyface, The Creeds could once again follow in his footsteps to see the light for themselves.

5. Alpha Academy (Otis, Akira Tozawa & Maxxine Dupri)

On the June 8 edition of Monday Night Raw, Chad Gable apologized to both Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee for disrespecting lucha libre.

However, Mysterio reminded Gable that he may have made some decisions or said things that he regrets way before he even put on The Original El Grande Americano mask.

This was hinting at Gable’s time as the controlling leader of Alpha Academy where he verbally abused his former friends Otis, Akira Tozawa and Maxxine Dupri.

Needing to redeem himself for all of his past transgressions, it should lead to Gable apologizing and potentially bringing Alpha Academy into the fold for a new babyface faction.

4. Rey Fenix

After unmasking at AAA Noche de Los Grandes, Chad Gable approached Rey Fenix in a backstage segment on the June 5 episode of Friday Night SmackDown.

Apologizing for their match at WrestleMania 41 and his lack of understanding of lucha libre, Gable looked to make amends with his former rival.

Fenix understood and acknowledged Gable being a man for apologizing for his actions, which could lead to some kind of partnership in the future.

Gable recruiting Fenix would show just how much respect the former Olympian has gained for his former luchador enemies.

3. Dragon Lee

Another former rival that Chad Gable recently apologized to was Dragon Lee.

In the past, Gable unmasked Lee and disrespected his identity as a luchador.

After forgiving Gable for his actions, Dragon could become a new ally for the former American Made leader moving forward.

Dragon being a member of a Gable-led faction would be interesting to see how much Mexican culture embraces the man behind The Original El Grande Americano mask.

2. Rey Mysterio

One last name that has received an apology from Chad Gable following his unmasking is Rey Mysterio.

Gable first put on The Original El Grande Americano mask during a feud with the WWE Hall of Famer, but Mysterio understood what his former rival had learned and now has grown to respect him.

There is no denying that Mysterio is still at the top of his game and someone who would be a wonderful addition to any group in WWE.

Mysterio joining forces with Gable in a new stable would be interesting to see who takes more of a leadership role in this potential unit.

1. El Grande Americano

At AAA Noche de Los Grandes 2026, El Grande Americano defeated The Original El Grande Americano in a Mask vs. Mask Match.

Due to this loss, The Original El Grande was forced to unmask to be revealed as Chad Gable.

The rivalry between the two El Grande Americanos got extremely personal and filled with hatred between the two men.

Wanting to make amends with all of his former enemies, Gable could apologize to El Grande and potentially form an alliance that might pay dividends for both men in their individual careers.
