AEW stars Will Ospreay and Alex Windsor recently became husband and wife, with the pair getting married after being engaged for around a year.

Engaged in June of last year, Will Ospreay and Alex Windsor have seen their relationship cross over into their working life, with both currently signed to AEW.

Now, in a post shared on Ospreay’s own Facebook page, Ospreay has revealed that he and Windsor got married, sharing a photo of the happy couple looking radiant in their respective outfits.

Ospreay is the stepfather of Windsor’s son, Harry, from her previous marriage to the late Ryan Smile, the best friend of the Aerial Assassin who passed away in October 2020.

Speaking in March 2024, Ospreay revealed that he chose to sign with AEW over WWE, with the family he shares with Windsor playing a prominent part in that decision.

It’s All About Family

Beyond the bravado that comes with being a wrestling star, let alone one widely recognized as a top talent, Will Ospreay clearly has a lot of love for those that he calls family.

Loyal to a fault, Ospreay has shared the love of his friend group with the same intensity as that of his own family, protecting them with a ferocity that has occasionally seen him draw criticism from those who are looking for a reason to confront him.

Over recent years, Ospreay was there for Windsor following the loss of her husband, he was one of those who ensured that Gabe Kidd was getting the support he needed during the then-NJPW star’s darkest times, and he’s kept a close eye on the development of his protege, Callum Newman. Three instances where the AEW star, in very different ways, supported those around him with love and care.

Open about his own challenges, Ospreay has previously spoken about being diagnosed with ADHD and reflected that he may be “on the spectrum” when it comes to undiagnosed autism. Occasionally speaking before anything else, Ospreay noted that he’s gotten himself “in so much trouble” as he doesn’t necessarily assess the repercussions.

Some of that “trouble” stems from his willingness to jump into the fray when the names of his loved ones are being disparaged, with social media playing a large role in that. Ospreay may look like he’s spoiling for a fight, but it’s his love of friends and family, and their love of him, that drives him forward.
