12. The Judgment Day (c) VS. Awesome Truth VS.#DIY VS. A-Town Down Under VS. New Catch Republic VS. The New Day – Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship Ladder Match
In what is almost guaranteed to be a fun and frantic watch, Finn Balor and Damian Priest of The Judgment Day put their Undisputed Tag Team Titles on the line against five of WWE’s best teams from Raw and SmackDown.
Obviously, given the numbers involved this one feels like a bit of a crap-shoot to predict. The logical choice would have to be Awesome Truth, with veteran R-Truth deserving a cathartic moment in front of a packed Lincoln Financial Field.
However, while it seems likely that Truth and Miz get the win, will they take both sets of titles home? As specified on Raw (April 1) the match will not end until both the Raw and SmackDown straps are retrieved from up above the ring.
While this may be a way to subvert expectations, it sure does feel like that mention is telegraphing exactly that happening – with two teams walking out as victors here.
While I feel Awesome Truth are nailed on for the Raw Tag Titles, I feel the SmackDown straps will be retrieved by none other than A-Town Down Under. Which would be interesting given all the noise of their potential removal from the match this week.
Prediction: Awesome Truth (Raw Tag Team Championships) A-Town Down Under (SmackDown Tag Team Championships)
