AEW All Out 2026: Dani Luna unsuccessful in debut match after signing

Former TNA Wrestling star Dani Luna was unsuccessful in her debut match at AEW All Out after signing with the company.

Earlier this week, it was reported that Dani Luna was believed to be signing with AEW, if she wasn’t already signed with the company.

Luna became a free agent back in March after she requested her release from TNA, with speculation about her future over the past few months.

Dani Luna debuts at AEW All Out

On this week’s AEW Dynamite, TBS Champion Persephone and Britt Baker announced that Persephone would be hosting an open challenge on the show, which got fans speculating about who could answer the call, with names like KAIRI, Mara Sade and Ruby Soho also among those speculated about.

However, it would indeed be the debuting Dani Luna who answered the call, making her AEW debut tonight in Chicago at All Out.

Dani was unsuccessful in her attempt, with Britt Baker causing a lot of mayhem at ringside and allowing Persephone to retain the TBS Championship.

Following the match, Tony Khan confirmed that Dani Luna was now officially All Elite, saying:

She put up a tremendous fight in her AEW debut vs the TBS Champion Persephone tonight, and now it’s official: @DaniLuna_pro is ALL ELITE! #AEWAllOut

Dani Luna isn’t the only new women’s signing joining AEW

With the debut of Dani Luna on tonight’s show, she is far from the only women’s star we could see join AEW in the very near future.

One other former TNA Knockout that has reportedly signed with AEW is Mara Sade, the real-life girlfriend of Kevin Knight, who recently noted on her website that she worked for the company, before it was later confirmed that she had signed a contract with AEW.

Another former WWE star that has had talks with AEW is Kairi Sane, who was released from WWE back in April, though she was not expected to be at tonight’s All Out event, with her likely to be on a dual contract with AEW and STARDOM if she does end up joining the company.

These women’s signings are set to join the company at a time where the booking of the women’s division is currently on an up in what has historically been an up and down division booking wise for Tony Khan’s company.

Tonight’s show will not feature an AEW Women’s World Championship match however, due to Mercedes Mone not being cleared to compete on the show, with Thekla and Willow Nightingale facing off for the right to face Mercedes in the future.
