AEW Star Referenced On WWE SmackDown

An AEW star was referenced on tonight’s WWE SmackDown during a contentious segment between two stars ahead of their WrestleMania showdown.

After giving an early Happy Birthday shout to her famous Father Ric Flair, Charlotte Flair also dropped a reference to another Papi entirely.

Referencing real life husband, AEW star Andrade El Idolo, Charlotte Flair definitely did not have time for Dominik Mysterio’s shenanigans when he answered her call for Ripley to come to the ring.

Telling Dominik that she has a real Latino man at home that calls her Mami, although with a much thicker… accent, Charlotte was done with Dom and ready to face off with Rhea.

After Charlotte squared up to Rhea’s nino, Ripley responded by coming to the ring albeit briefly.

While they engaged in a stare down, the pair didn’t lay hands as Rhea Ripley retreated up the entrance ramp.

Elsewhere announced for tonight’s SmackDown, a big match between Natalya and Shayna Baszler after the pair exchanged harsh words online last night.
