AEW Star Undergoes Emergency Surgery

An AEW star who was noticeably absent from last night’s March 15 episode of Dynamite has now explained why he wasn’t there.

During the Orange Cassidy vs Jeff Jarrett match for the AEW International Championship, Trent Beretta of Best Friends ran out to help even the odds for Cassidy as Jarrett had Sonjay Dutt, Satnam Singh and Jay Lethal in his corner.

However, nowhere to be seen was Beretta’s tag team partner Chuck Taylor.

Taylor took to social media shortly after to reveal that he had to undergo emergency dental surgery, and that’s why he wasn’t on the show.

He tweeted:

“Couldn’t help Orange because I had emergency dental surgery on my dumb skull. I hope Greg got me a ticket for Shazam Fury Of The Gods”

For those wondering, Greg is Trent Beretta, and the match was promotional for Shazam Fury Of The Gods, which was also used as part of the reason why the name of the title was changed from All-Atlantic to International.

Cassidy beat Jarrett, and therefore has now retained his championship on Dynamite for four consecutive weeks.
