‘Absolutely Not Shocking’ – CM Punk Publicly Mocks Botched AEW Merch AEW

CM Punk has mocked official company merch that was made for ROH Death Before Dishonor on social media as “absolutely not shocking”.

ROH Death Before Dishonor took place on July 21, 2023, at the CURE Insurance Arena in Trenton, New Jersey.

That day was a Friday, which is something that wasn’t reflected in the commemorative T-shirt that was available.

CM Punk posted a photograph to his Instagram Stories, adding the caption:

“Absolute not shocking. How could this happen?”

The caption would be accompanied, as can be seen below, by a laughing and thinking emoji.

As if it wasn’t baffling enough that the show took place on Friday, July 21 and not Saturday, July 21, there was an error in its location, too.

According to the T-shirt, the show took place in Newark, New Jersey and not in its actual location of  Trenton, New Jersey.

Of course, it’s entirely possible that, in a parallel dimension, July 21, 2023 fell on a Saturday, and ROH Death Before Dishonor really did take place in Newark.

The version of the shirt currently up for sale on Pro Wrestling Tees does in fact have the correct date and location.

ROH Death Before Dishonor saw Aussie Open become the new ROH Tag Team Champions and marked the return of Mark Davis.
