The Elite were barely moments into their AEW Full Gear return match for the Trios Championships when the rowdy AEW crowd made their feelings known.
Weighing in on their feelings on the “Brawl Out” controversy, fans in attendance at AEW Full Gear went wild to see the returning Elite, and wasted no time sharing their opinion on the absence.
With Kenny Omega in the ring and Nick and Matt Jackson on the apron, the raucous crowd began chanting “F**k CM Punk,” as well as “Colt Cabana”.
They would go on to chant a variety of other things including, “this is awesome” as the match progressed in the manner in which you might expect Elite vs. Death Triangle to be.
Absolute madness!
Despite previous reports that The Young Bucks had abandoned their trademark quest for “The Wayward Sons” the Elite returned to a thunderous response with a new anthem.
Returning to the classic 1976 rock anthem by Kansas, Carry on Wayward Son, Kenny Omega and Nick and Matt Jackson have returned to AEW.
