The viewership for this week’s (July 28) AEW Dynamite: Fight For The Fallen show, featuring Chris Jericho vs Nick Gage, has been revealed.
As per Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, Wednesday’s show drew an average of 1.108 million viewers. This is slightly down from the 1.148 million viewers who tuned in last week.
As for the 18-49 demographic, the July 28 show earned a 0.45 rating, an increase on last week’s score of 0.44. The 0.45 rating is AEW Dynamite’s best demographic rating of the year so far.
In the main event of the show, Chris Jericho defeated Nick Gage in a brutal No Rules match. It has been reported that Jericho himself pitched the hardcore match. On next week’s episode, Jericho will wrestle Juventud Guerrera in chapter three of the Five Labors of Jericho.
Also on the episode, Hangman Page and the Dark Order faced off against The Elite, with future title opportunities on the line. Ultimately, the team of Kenny Omega, the Young Bucks and The Good Brothers were victorious over Hangman Page, Alex Reynolds, Evil Uno, John Silver and Stu Grayson.
Throughout the show, AEW made many references to CM Punk. A major episode of AEW Rampage on August 20 in Chicago was also announced.
