AEW Star Admits To Crying & Lets Kids Know It’s Ok To Cry AEW

An AEW star has admitted to crying and lets kids know it’s okay to cry.

Powerhouse Hobbs is one of the biggest and most intimidating members of the AEW roster. The former TNT Champion has made a name for himself due to his sheer size, strength and dominating presence.

In a recent clip uploaded to highlight mental health, Hobbs discussed emotions and admitted that despite his immense size, he does cry. He said:

“I grew up in a household being told that boys and men aren’t supposed to cry and seeking some type of outside help meant that you’re crazy.”

“I’ve had some trauma in my life being shot, losing my brother, losing my mother about a year ago. And you know, losing my grandparents. So me, I seek outside help.”

“Because me personally, if I keep things bundled in, I’m going to explode and I’m a six foot 2, 270 pound man. And I do cry.”

“And I have two males that I’m raising and I do let them know that it is okay to cry. Yeah, it’s just for me, I need that person, someone outside to kind of to give me guidance, to let me know that it is okay, that I’m worth something.”

“And you know, and if I can speak on my personal experiences to even help one person, you know, this big muscular guy, that’s this athlete, he cries. Well, it’s okay for me to cry. So for anyone watching this, it does get better. I can testify to that, just keep pushing.”

Powerhouse Hobbs is currently involved in the ongoing rivalry between The Don Callis Family and the team of Kenny Omega, Chris Jericho, Paul Wight and Kota Ibushi that is set to culminate in a Street Fight on the November 15 episode of AEW Dynamite.
