An AEW star has guaranteed some blood and a win heading into tonight’s Dynamite.
Over the weekend, All Elite Wrestling announced that Jon Moxley will defend the AEW World Championship against Penta El Zero Miedo on the October 26 edition of Dynamite.
Moxley is coming off a successful defense against Hangman Page on the October 19 episode of Dynamite, while Penta along with PAC and Rey Fenix of Death Triangle retained the AEW World Trios Championship over Best Friends on the same edition.
Speaking with Sports Illustrated, Penta promised to do whatever he has to do in order to win tonight.
Penta says:
“I’m going to do whatever it takes to beat Mox. I don’t care if there is blood, his blood or mine. I want to make history in AEW, so I will not hold back.”
Later in the interview, one third of the AEW World Trios Champions addressed the brief dissension shown within Death Triangle on last Wednesday’s Dynamite.
He said:
“We are better than all of them. We are the best trio in the universe and we have proven it. There was a misunderstanding last week [between Fénix and PAC], but now everything is fine. There is no one we can’t beat.”
Aside from the AEW World Title Match, FTR will face Swerve In Our Glory in a #1 contenders match on tonight’s Dynamite.
Also, Jericho Appreciation Society’s Chris Jericho and Daniel Garcia will face Blackpool Combat Club’s Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta, while Bryan Danielson goes one-on-one with Sammy Guevara.
