One half of AEW tag team FTR Dax Harwood has quit wrestling after being constantly denied title shots…sort of.
On last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite, the Young Bucks retained their AEW Tag Team Championship after defeating the Varsity Blondes, after which Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston were named the number one contenders for the tag belts.
Earlier in the night, Dax had joked that if Moxley and Kingston jumped ahead of FTR in the queue for a tag title shot, he’d quit the business.
Every team has gotten a Tag Team Title shot, except us. We’ve been ranked in the top 5 since we dropped the belts to the execs. If Mox & Kingston jump us in line too, I’ll quit the biz!

And once that had happened…

Yes, this is obviously not actually Dax quitting wrestling, but it’s nice to see wrestlers having a bit of a personality on social media.
Dax and tag partner Cash Wheeler are currently part of the Pinnacle, who will face the Inner Circle in a Stadium Stampede match at Double or Nothing on Sunday, May 30.
