AEW Star Promises To Surpass Kenny Omega & Will Ospreay AEW

A rising AEW star has promised that he will surpass the achievements of two of the world’s most revered wrestlers: Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay.

Following his capturing of his first-ever piece of singles championship gold at ROH Final Battle, United Empire and Don Callis Family member Kyle Fletcher has ensured everyone that there is many more accolades in his future.

In response to a tweet from Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp, who stated he saw a lot of parallels between Fletcher and the two former IWGP Heavyweight Champions, Fletcher would respond saying:

I will surpass them both, mark my words

Fletcher knows Ospreay particularly well, been stablemates with the Englishman in the United Empire and has also recently fought Omega in singles competition on AEW TV, losing to The Cleaner on the October 18 edition of Dynamite

After spending much of his career thus far in the tag team division alongside Mark Davis as Aussie Open, Fletcher is now getting a chance to spread his wings on his own, following Davis’ unfortunate injury at AEW WrestleDream in October.

The 24-year-old captured the vacant ROH Television Championship at Final Battle on December 15, last pinning Komander in a Survival of the Fittest match.
