Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful broke the news that AEW talent releases are ongoing tonight (Monday, April 1, 2024).

Here is a list of names reported by Sean Ross Sapp and PWInsider, as indicated, to have been released by AEW today:

Jose The Assistant (Sapp), Parker Boudreaux (Sapp), Stu Grayson (Sapp),

Dasha Gonzalez (Sapp), Anthony Henry (PWInsider), Slim J (Sapp),

Brandon Tate (PWInsider), Brent Tate (PWInsider),

Gravity (Sapp), Jora Johl (Sapp).

Both sources have now confirmed the same list of 10 releases as noted above.

According to PWInsider, AEW is “currently evaluating their talent roster and making cuts to benefit both the company and the talents”.

PWInsider notes that the released talents are expected to become free agents immediately rather than having non-compete clauses.

It was reported that it’s believed the above list of 10 names is the complete list for cuts made today.
