In a surprising end to tonight’s WWE SmackDown, AJ Styles made his return to SmackDown and then make a surprise turn on LA Knight.
After Randy Orton took on Jimmy Uso in the main event of tonight’s WWE SmackDown (December 15), there was a Bloodline melee to end the show.
While Randy Orton was assisted in a post-match fracas by LA Knight, that would also draw out Roman Reigns to brawl with the Megastar.
However, when the Bloodline seemed poised to strike, there was a returning surprise that came in the form of a flying leap.
AJ Styles would appear, jump off the top turnbuckle hit a Phenomenal Forearm on Roman Reigns, attacked Jimmy Uso and swung at Solo Sikoa as the Bloodline fled.
However as Orton, LA Knight and AJ Styles stood together in the ring, AJ Styles attacked LA Knight from behind!
Without any significant emotion on his face (other than perhaps resolve) AJ Styles paused on the ring apron, stormed past the Bloodline and walked to the back.
