AJ Styles Officially Removed From WWE Current Roster Page, Added To Hall Of Fame Section

AJ Styles has officially been removed from the Current Superstars section of the WWE roster page, and is now listed in the Hall of Fame section.

With Styles retiring after losing to GUNTHER at Royal Rumble, the Phenomenal One was officially inducted into the Hall of Fame on April 17, as part of the Class of 2026.

Styles’ roster profile on the official WWE website has now been updated accordingly, with Styles no longer listed as a current superstar.

The Phenomenal One is now listed under the Hall of Fame section, with the Hall of Fame emblem appearing on his profile page.

His updated bio reads:

To describe AJ Styles in one word? Phenomenal.

A global sensation long before arriving in WWE, Styles backed up the hype from the moment he debuted in the 2016 Royal Rumble Match. With jaw-dropping aerial offense, technical precision, and unshakable confidence, he’s proven himself on every stage, claiming two WWE Championships — including a legendary 371-day reign — and achieving Grand Slam Champion status.

Styles has gone to war with Roman Reigns, John Cena, Brock Lesnar, and Seth Rollins, and made SmackDown The House That AJ Styles Built. Even when fans thought he was nearing retirement, The Phenomenal One shocked the world by ambushing Cody Rhodes and nearly capturing a third WWE Title in an “I Quit” Match.

Armed with the Styles Clash, Calf Crusher, and the Phenomenal Forearm, Styles was always a threat — and his place in the WWE Hall of Fame is matched by very few.

Styles still works for WWE, with the star recently stating that he is wearing a couple of different hats backstage within the recruitment and WWE ID systems.

With Triple H previously indicating that Styles didn’t want to be a writer or producer after sitting in on creative and production meetings, a talent development role would appear to be a great fit for the wrestling veteran, who would be able to help to shape WWE’s next generation.
