This was his first wrestling appearance since being released by WWE earlier this year. Andrade will face Kenny Omega for the AAA Mega Championship at TripleMania in August. Omega last defended the AEW Championship at Double or Nothing.
Kenny Omega will defend his IMPACT World Championship at Against All Odds later this month. Following the announcement that Slammiversary would have a live crowd, IMPACT revealed that initial tickets for the event sold out in just 20 minutes.
