Anna Jay Says Brodie Lee Taught Her To Treat Wrestling Like Its Real

Anna Jay has said that she treats wrestling like it’s real because that’s how Brodie Lee taught her to treat it.

Appearing on the Oral Sessions podcast, Jay talked about how Brodie Lee taught her to look at wrestling. This episode of the podcast was hosted by Jessie McKay and Cassie Lee (The Iiconics). Here is the quote, courtesy of Fightful:

“He always said, you know, whenever I went out there, like basically to treat it, like, it was real, obviously you don’t hurt anyone, but just to go out there and just have the mindset of like, this is real and it will be portrayed that way. So that helped a lot.”

Anna Jay also mentioned that there is currently no timetable for her return to the ring. She has been out of action after having surgery to repair a torn labrum in her shoulder. You can read more about that here.

Anna Jay’s name in The Dark Order, 99, was given to her by Brodie Lee because of his appreciation of hockey legend Wayne Gretzky who wore the jersey number. You can read more about that here.
