Another New Champion Crowned At Elimination Chamber

Sometimes it feels like WWE just trolls fans by making every result what we weren’t expecting. And I’m not just bitter because all my predictions have been wrong.

Finn Balor is your new Intercontinental Champion after pinning Lio Rush in his handicap match against Lio Rush and Bobby Lashley.

Balor worked to isolate Rush throughout the match, finally managing to do so after taking Lashley out with a dive. The Coup de Grace proved to be too much for Rush and Lashley’s short run with the belt is over.

Furious at losing his championship and the fact that his hype man lost the match for him, Lashley turned on Lio after the bell, slamming him into the canvas before walking away.

Is this they end of the Hype and Almighty Connection?

Nice to see Finn win a belt, something his waist has been missing for way too long.
