AEW Dynamite has been touring the United States since October 2, 2019. One city they have yet to visit has been Jon Moxley’s hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio. Now, we know why.
Fightful Select reported that the Heritage Bank Center in Cincinnati has refused to host AEW events because of their relationship with WWE. This is not the first time something like this has happened as WWE attempted to block New Japan Pro Wrestling and Ring of Honor from running their G1 Supercard in Madison Square Garden last year.
The report also mentioned that Moxley has been pushing for an event in Cincinnati. With the Heritage Bank Center out of the running, AEW would likely turn to the Cintas Center at Xavier University.
