A backstage update has emerged on Elektra Lopez following the main roster debut of Legado Del Fantasma on SmackDown.
During the October 7 episode, Santos Escobar, Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro officially joined the main roster, alongside Zelina Vega.
Elektra Lopez notably didn’t appear in the segment, indicating that she will not be joining the Legado Del Fantasma faction on the main roster.
Per Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, those within WWE initially expected that Elektra Lopez to be called up with Legado Del Fantasma, before WWE ‘changed their mind’.
Meltzer noted:
“She thought she was. Everybody was under the impression she was (going to be called up). Then they (WWE) changed their mind, and she wasn’t.”
