Big Return Announced For WWE NXT

It has been announced that Kushida will be making a return to the NXT ring tonight after being out for some time due to a wrist injury.

His last match came on October 9 in his first NXT TV loss, against WWE United Kingdom Champion WALTER.

No opponent has been announced for the ‘Time Splitter’ as of yet.

WWE.com writes:

After spending several weeks on the shelf, Kushida will return to action tonight on NXT.

The Japanese Superstar suffered a wrist injury in late September, then re-aggravated it in a one-on-one bout with WWE United Kingdom Champion WALTER, which forced him out of action. Now that he’s healed up, how will Kushida fare in his return to the ring? Find out tonight at 8/7 C on USA!

Also announced for NXT tonight is Dakota Kai vs. Rhea Ripley. The announced match between Killian Dain and Damian Priest has been pulled due to Priest not being medically cleared.

We will have live coverage of both NXT and AEW Dynamite tonight at WrestleTalk.com.
