Bray Wyatt To Be SAnitY’s New Leader?

By Jamal Niaz

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter’s Dave Meltzer, Bray Wyatt’s recent alliance with Woken Matt Hardy will be short-lived. Meltzer has recently stated that a plan has been pitched for Wyatt to be the new leader of SAnitY once they debut on the main roster.

Right now, this is just an idea as nothing concrete is in place but there are several reasons why this decision wouldn’t make sense right now. The pairing of Wyatt and Matt Hardy is very fresh and there is a lot for them to accomplish as a team. With last Monday’s tease of Brother Nero joining the two down the line, this Woken stable would be the perfect group to feud with SAnitY once they debut on the main roster.

If Bray Wyatt was to be revealed as the new leader of SAnitY as soon as they debut on Raw or Smackdown Live, this would immediately diminish the great work Eric Young has done establishing them as a force to be reckoned with in NXT.

The move may make sense down the line with the similarities between the Wyatt Family and SAnitY already apparent as both groups having a dark and twisted thirst for complete chaos. However, it’s important that SAnitY connects with the audience on the main roster naturally rather than having a well-known superstar take the spotlight away from a group of very talented individuals.

It’ll be interesting to see how this pitch develops in the future, let us know whether you think it’s a good idea or not in the comments below.
