Fightful Select is reporting that Brian Cage was backstage at this past Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite in Las Vegas.
Cage had not been backstage in recent times and has been off AEW TV since October.
He did appear at ROH Supercard of Honor as part of a new alliance with Tully Blanchard, Kaun and Toa Liona.
Following his lengthy absence and his contract coming due, most people expected AEW would let Cage go, but there was a one-year extension option that was activated.
Cage recently teased making a ‘shock re-debut’, so perhaps it isn’t all that far away from happening.
