AEW’s Negative 1 (Brodie Lee Jr) has given a rather definitive statement about his AEW and professional wrestling future.
This week’s episode of the AEW Unrestricted podcast was recorded during fan fest over Double or Nothing weekend, and featured an interview with the Dark Order member.
When questioned about whether or not he would follow in his father’s footsteps and become a wrestler, Brodie Lee Jr said:
“There is zero percent chance I’m going to be anything else but a professional wrestler. I have been doing wrestling since I was one. I’ve watched wrestling since I was one. I’ve done it, and I’m going to do it because my dad did it. I’m not going to stop and not relive his legacy.”
Brodie Lee Jr’s AEW colleague Jon Moxley also recently spoke about the potential of his daughter becoming a professional wrestler.
Negative 1 has been a staple of AEW television since last December, although it was recently revealed that he can only appear on the show if he gets good grades in school.
