Bron Breakker WWE Status Update After Main Roster Call-Up Teases WWE

An update has emerged on Bron Breakker in NXT following recent hints that he’s being called up to the main roster.

Following the former NXT Champion’s impressive showing in the Royal Rumble match, Breakker noted in a backstage interview that he feels like the main roster is now his home, and hinted that he’s feuding with the Judgment Day.

This interview, in addition to Nick Aldis receiving a call from Breakker on Monday’s (January 29) Raw episode, have convinced fans that Breakker is finishing up with NXT.

Speaking with Tim & Eli on Battleground, Shawn Michaels indicated that Breakker is still an NXT star, and will be wrestling “double time” on NXT and the main roster moving forward.

When asked if Royal Rumble was Breakker’s official call-up, Michaels said:

“He may feel like that’s his home, but he still has work here in NXT to do, whether he likes it or not. Our job is to lose talent. He’s one that, I’m going to have trouble letting him go.

“I can assure you that there is more left for Bron Breakker here at NXT, one way or another. He’s an incredibly talented, very gifted young man. As far as I’m concerned, he’s young and, as we say, full of piss and vinegar.

“If he wants to double time, he can certainly do it, but I’m not letting him go that easy.”

Breakker has a big match scheduled for the February 4 NXT Vengeance Day special, with him and Baron Corbin slated to compete in the finals of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament.
