Bronson Reed Announced For This Week’s NXT

Last week Bronson Reed finally captured his first championship since signing with WWE in 2019. He was able to beat Johnny Gargano in a Steel Cage match to win the NXT North American Championship.

Now, he has been announced for this week’s episode of NXT. After his Steel Cage match, he will speak his mind for the first time as champion. Here is the official preview from WWE.com:

“The Colossal Era has arrived in NXT!

Bronson Reed is the new NXT North American Champion, and the NXT Universe will hear from him this Tuesday night.

Reed knocked off Johnny Gargano in a jaw-dropping Steel Cage Match last week on NXT, leading to an emotional celebration for the black-and-gold brand’s Colossal Superstar.”

Bronson Reed may already have his first challenger ahead of him. Prior to winning the Steel Cage match, Isaiah ‘Swerve’ Scott issued a challenge to the winner. Now with the title picture a bit more clear, it could be Scott who takes the first crack at dethroning Reed.
