When a major star returned on tonight’s WWE SmackDown, it would have been easy to miss the new song over the massive crowd reaction.
However, according to Twitter sleuths and music experts, the return of the Queen Charlotte Flair also included a brand new theme song.
Charlotte Flair made her return with a new electronic version of her theme that while sounded very much like Dragula by Rob Zombie, don’t be fooled.
It isn’t really!
Whereas licensing a known song has become quite the AEW trope (most recently with The Elite using Kansas’ Carry On My Wayward Son and even the NBA on NBC theme) it isn’t as though it has never happened in WWE.
Of course, Bray Wyatt’s ‘White Rabbit’ mystery began with the use of the Jefferson Airplane classic by the same name.
Elsewhere on tonight’s SmackDown, the return of John Cena is set for the SmackDown main event as Cena teams with former foe Kevin Owens to take on Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn.
