Chelsea Green has confirmed that she suffered a legitimate wrist injury on Saturday’s IMPACT Sacrifice pay-per-view.
During the show, the referee threw up the ‘X’ during Green’s match with Deonna Purrazzo to tell the back that Green had suffered an injury. Purrazzo then pulled Green into her armbar for the win, leading some fans to question whether or not Green’s injury was legitimate, or just an angle.
Green has since posted a photo of her wrist in a cast. Pointing out that she has found herself in this position before, Green captioned the photo:
“I could copy & paste this caption by now… lol
“Thank you for the support, calls and texts. S**t happens, but @IMPACTWRESTLING has my back.”
IMPACT has confirmed that Green suffered a fracture to her left radius, sharing the following to Instagram:
“Chelsea Green suffered an arm injury Saturday evening at Sacrifice in Louisville, KY. After seeking emergency medical attention, it was determined Chelsea has fractured her left radius. She will forego surgery and will undergo extensive physical therapy while casted.”
Green notably broke her wrist during her NXT TV debut in 2019, breaking it again during her first match on WWE SmackDown in November 2020.

We wish Chelsea Green a safe and healthy recovery.
