Raw Viewership Drops Below 2 Million For Christmas Eve, Another All-Time Low

Raw Viewership Drops Below 2 Million For Christmas Eve, Another All-Time Low

Well, this was to be expected, really. The Christmas Eve episode of Raw drew an all-time low average of 1.775 million viewers.

The hourly breakdown was as follows:

  • 8pm – 1.752 million
  • 9pm – 1.789 million
  • 10pm – 1.784 million

As noted, we couldn’t really have expected much different. The show was pre-taped a week prior to airing, meaning spoilers were accessible for people who didn’t want to watch the show, and of course people were busy waiting for Santa to turn up with their Drew Gulak action figures.

It’s been a torrid final portion of the year when it comes to TV ratings for WWE, with the December 17 episode being the only recent shining light thanks to the on-screen return of Vince McMahon and his promise of a new era.The previous all-time low rating was 2.194 million viewers, which is what the 10 December, 2018 episode drew two weeks ago.

Next week’s New Year’s Eve edition of Raw will also be pre-taped (on December 28) so will likely suffer a similar fate.
