The Living Colour band has fuelled fan speculation about a potential CM Punk WWE return, ahead of this weekend’s Survivor Series premium live event.
With WWE Survivor Series WarGames 2023 set to emanate from Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois on Saturday (November 25), despite reports suggesting it won’t be happening, fans are continuing to hope that CM Punk could potentially make an appearance at the event.
On Friday (November 24), one day ahead of Survivor Series, Living Colour released a remastered version of Cult of Personality.
This obviously doesn’t confirm anything about Punk’s wrestling status, but many fans have taken it as another reason to suggest Punk could return.
Punk hasn’t wrestled for WWE since January 2014, with the former WWE Champion’s final bout with the company being the 2014 Royal Rumble match.
It was recently reported that WWE announced Randy Orton for the men’s WarGames match ahead of the show in order to make sure fans didn’t think it was Punk if it was left as a mystery.
There has been an update on the recent callouts from Shinsuke Nakamura that fans have speculated could be in reference to Punk.

To reiterate, as of the latest word, CM Punk is NOT expected to be at Survivor Series. At the moment, any suggestion that he will be there is just fans hoping/guessing. It’s also not been ruled out as impossible.
