Following a significant drop in AEW Dynamite viewership, Cody Rhodes has publicly addressed fans about his departure.
Replying to a Twitter user who said they didn’t watch last night’s show due to Cody leaving, Rhodes tweeted that he still wants fans to watch All Elite Wrestling for all the talented stars they have.
Cody stated:
I’d encourage you to still watch it – I was very lucky that my hard work led me to be that face, but I wasn’t alone
Nick/Matt/Kenny/Chicken/Jericho/MJF/Hang were as well, and all the new girls and guys putting in a shift now as well
Wrestling is thriving
For those who don’t know, “Chicken” is Cody’s brother Dustin Rhodes.
