Cody Rhodes’ Sister Fires Back At The Rock Following WWE SmackDown WWE

The sister of Cody Rhodes has fired back at The Rock following his promo on WWE SmackDown (March 8).

Since Cody Rhodes snatched back his main event spot at WrestleMania 40 from The Rock, he’s found himself the target of a fair few verbal tirades from The Great One.

The content of these has seen many of Cody’s nearest and dearest find their way into the cross-fires including Cody’s beloved dog Pharaoh – something that has not gone down too well with his wife Brandi.

And on this week’s SmackDown from Dallas, TX The Rock brought up two of Cody’s older siblings Dustin Runnels and Kristen Runnels-Ditto.

While not mentioned by name, both were brought up as a way of telling Cody that he was an “accident” due to the age gap between he and his siblings.

What wasn’t mentioned however, is Cody’s other sister Teil Rhodes, who is in fact just three years older than Cody.

Despite being inaccurate Rock’s words unsurprisingly led to Cody getting heated and even slapping The People’s Champion as the broadcast came off the air.

It was also enough to draw a response from Teil Rhodes on social media, who responded to a fan who questioned why Teil was not referenced by Rock in the promo.

Teil took the chance to throw a shot at Rock and his family in comparison to the Rhodes’, saying:

He’s just mad we are an actual family

While the slap took a lot of the headlines, new stipulations were added to the now official tag team match between The Rock & Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes & Seth Rollins.
