Cody Rhodes Responds To The Rock Slap On WWE SmackDown WWE

The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes has taken to social media for the first time since slapping The Rock on this week’s SmackDown (March 8).

Almost exactly one month after The Rock first laid hands on Cody Rhodes at the WrestleMania 40 press event in Las Vegas, the 2024 Royal Rumble winner got himself some sweet revenge yesterday in Dallas, TX.

In front of a sold out American Airlines Center, Rhodes and World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins answered The Rock and Roman Reigns’ challenge for a tag team match on April 6, at WrestleMania 40 Night One.

Unsurprisingly, Rhodes and Rollins accepted despite the high stakes on the line pertaining to WrestleMania Night Two’s main event between Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns.

After doing so Rock and Reigns proceeded to run down both Rhodes and Rollins, even calling Cody Rhodes a “mistake” due to the age gap between he and two of his other siblings.

This led to a well-earned slap across the face from Rhodes to Rock as SmackDown came off the air.

Now, following the slap, Rhodes has taken to Twitter to respond to his actions in Dallas, all without saying a single word.

Posting a still image of the slap connecting with Rock’s face as well as tagging WWE’s Twitter account – Rhodes made it clear that he has no regrets over his actions.

However, after Rhodes and Rollins accepted the challenge some extra stipulations were added to the tag bout at WrestleMania, some that could massively impact both men’s futures in WWE.
