Cody’s Double Or Nothing Opponent To Be Announced Tomorrow

All Elite Wrestling has announced that Cody’s Double or Nothing opponent will be announced tomorrow. The announcement will be made in a bonus episode of The Road to Double or Nothing.

They have teased Cody’s opponent during The Road to Double or Nothing before. In episode five Brandi Rhodes mentioned that Cody was trying to rush his return so he could face someone whose name was censored. She also stated that she did not want to see that match happen. During episode nine, while Cody was on the phone with his seamstress going over his ring jacket, she asked if he wanted to stay away from using the color gold. We will soon see if that was a small piece of foreshadowing.

Cody has been rehabbing a torn meniscus injury since his Wrestle Kingdom 13 match with Juice Robinson. He suffered the injury in November, but delayed having surgery until after the match at the Tokyo Dome. Since then, Cody has made appearances at independent events alongside his Being the Elite cast mates.

Double or Nothing will take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on May 25th.
