Top Athlete Teases Confrontation With Roman Reigns

Olympic gold medalist Gable Steveson has teased a confrontation with Roman Reigns, following the WWE champion’s appearance in an Olympics commercial.

The Tribal Chief was recently featured in a commercial for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, alongside the likes of Dolly Parton and the Minions.

During the video, Paul Heyman stated that Reigns will defend his WWE Undisputed Universal Championship anytime, anywhere.

While Reigns did butt in to state that he won’t be defending his gold at the July 2024 Olympic Games, Gable Steveson has teased an encounter with the top WWE star in France.

Replying to the clip of the commercial shared to Reigns’ Instagram account, Steveson commented:

Anyone? Anytime? Roman vs Gable in Paris?!

Despite signing an exclusive agreement with WWE in September 2021, and getting drafted to Raw that October, Steveson has yet to make his in-ring pro-wrestling debut.

He recently made his amateur wrestling return, dominating the competition at the US Men’s Freestyle Open in Las Vegas, Nevada in late-April, ahead of potentially competing in the 2024 Olympic Games.

Roman Reigns’ month has been a mixed bag, with the Tribal Chief awarded a new WWE Undisputed Universal Title belt, while dealing with dissention in the Bloodline.
